THE ONE SHOW CALL FOR ENTRIES

The concept for the 2013 One Show was inspired by an old Hindi proverb, which stated that one must "first deserve, then desire." The proverb was reinterpreted in a way that the entire advertising industry could relate, thus a new idea was born: We all desire. Will you deserve?

A printed piece, crafted by the design team at JWT, marries complex mandala structures and simple iconography to illustrate the journey that every advertising creative experiences. The front side told the tale of desire. It represented the creative process, from the concept stage to the moment the work is released out into the world. The flip side represents judgement.
