With 100 golfers across 18 holes, averaging 21,000+ shots over 4 days. It’s not humanly possible to provide commentary on ever shot at The Masters Tournament. IBM created the world's first AI sports commentator capable or giving commentary on ever single shot, ever single player, on every single hole. Giving each of the 16M Masters fan their own personal commentator.


This was part of the larger What If campaign, which illustrated the importance of asking big questions to co-create innovative technology solutions. Like “What if buildings could tell you how they could be more efficient?” or “What if you could make analyzing a big bank’s data…no big deal?”
